Daily in the Word from January 30th
Here is a thought from my reading this morning. Society, especially American society is driven by money and the desire to have more. I am 100% guilty of this crime. Yet, God’s word, long ago in the Proverbs expresses how we should feel about this: “First, help me never to tell a lie. Second, give me neither poverty nor riches! Give me just enough to satisfy my needs.” (Proverbs 30:8). The key is realizing what is a need and what is a want.
